Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Rector, of Flint Hill, Virginia innounce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca, to Mr. Abraham Burke, of Washington, Virginia. Miss Rector is a 1966 graduate af Rappahannock County High School, a 1967 graduate of Monroe College, and is presently miployed by the government. Mr. Burke, a 1963 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, is employed by Hazel Electric Inc. in Warrenton, Virginia. A summer wedding is planned.

Mrs. Thomas Thornhill entertained at a variety shower in honor of her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Burke at 8 p.m., June 29th at the recreation rooms of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Approximately forty guests enjoyed the evening and the young couple received many beautiful and useful gifts.
