Ned Moffett Jones entertained at buffett supper July 4th at their home Delamore. Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Forward and son, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Baumgardner and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller and three sons and D. D. Miller, III and Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker and two children of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike, jr. and son of Falls Church were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Taylor Updike.

The Rt. Rev. Samuel B. Chilton, Suffragan Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia, was Sunday dinner guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at The Rectory.

Dick Miller, III of McLean is the guest of his uncle J. Newbill Miller and family at Horse Shoe Farm.

Earl Burke who has recently returned from Vietnam is visiting his mother Mrs. Mary Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Price, jr. of Falls Church were callers Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland.

William M. Stuart returned to Beltsville, Md. Saturday after spending a week at his home on Blue Ridge Avenue.

In The Service

S/Sgt. David W. Streagle returned to his home near Washington, Va. Tuesday after serving a year’s tour of duty in Danang, Vietnam. Sgt. Streagle has served eleven years with the U. S. Marine Corps and in 1966 re-enlisted for six years before volunteering for service in Vietnam. He has also been stationed in Tiawan and Hawaii. He will report to Drill Instructor’s School at Parris Island, S. C. on August 15 after spending a month’s leave with his wife, the former Elizabeth Latham, and two children Shannon and Marc.
