The annual road meeting for Rappahannock County has been scheduled for Friday, April -1, 1969 at the courthouse in Washington beginning at 10 a m. This action was taken by the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County at its regular March meeting held Friday. James K. Skeens, Resident Fngineer for the Highway Department was present and requested a date for the hearing. The purpose of the road , hearing is to give the public an opportunity to be heard on road matters. The regular April Board meeting will follow the hearing.

Mr. Skeens also announced that weight restrictions had been lifted on Route 645, Tapp's Ford Road Mrs. Betty Coates, Supervisor of Piedmont District, asked Mr. Skeens to investigate a bad curve and hill on Route 612, a road over which a school bus travels, and see what might be done to improve it.
