Ross Alexander Hogue, 49, a native of Chester, S.C., died March 9, 1969 at D. C. General Hospital, Washington, D. C. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Corder Hogue of Amissville and his mother, Mrs. Mildred Cloud of Chester, S. C.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) from Geest Funeral Parlors in Culpeper at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Daisy Jenkins
Mrs. Daisy Margaret Jenkins, 68, wife of Jesse James Jenkins of Manassas, died Sunday, March 9, 1969 at Prince William Hospital in Manassas. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Ludd and Nora Sisk Jenkins. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, James Ludd Jenkins of Centreville, Jesse James Jenkins, Jr., of Manassas and John Robert Jenkins of Sperryville; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Nichols of Brandy Station, Mrs. Jerry Jenkins of Woodville, Mrs. Flossie Martin of Alexandria, and Mrs. Otis Bache of Culpeper; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Conner Jenkins of Slate Mills, Cooper Jenkins of Culpeper, Haywood Jenkins of Elkwood and Egbert Jenkins of Remington; and five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Pearl Jenkins of Sperryville, Mrs. Venie Jenkins of Culpeper, Mrs. Ora Fincham of Sperryville, Mrs. Flossie Leake of Falmouth and Mrs. Fairy Nichols of Sperryville.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel with interment in Sperryville cemetery. The Rev. Kinsey Reed officiated.
