Foster

A funeral service for James Addieway Foster of Washington, Va. was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Washington Masonic Cemetery. Mr. John Burke officiated.

Mr. Foster, 75, died Sunday, March 9, 1969 at the residence of a daughter near Sperryville. He was a native of Rappahannock County, a retired farmer.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lula Atkins of Sperryville, Mrs. Mary Fannie Burke of Flint Hill, and Miss Lena Foster of Lynchburg; five sons, Stanley Foster and Franklin Foster, both of Washington, Hubert Foster and Silas Foster, both of Sperryville and Hoover Foster of Front Royal; and eighteen grandchildren. Also two brothers, Silas Foster and Jesse Foster, both of Flint Hill.
