accompanied soloist, Miss Reba Higgs, who sang “The Lord’s My Shepherd” and “Wedding Prayer.” The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of white slipper satin, fashioned with a modified jewel neckline and long sleeves. The bodice and sleeves were appliqued with medallions of reembroidered Alencon lace and seed pearls. The detachable chapel train flowed from a satin bow in the back. Her elbow length veil was held by a
jlace headpiece embroidered with seed pearls. She carried a cascade of Fugi mums, chrysanthemums and stephanotis.
Miss Patricia Louise Perry of Front Royal was maid of honor, and wore a full-length gown of ice blue crepe designed with a yoke and sleeves of Venice lace and a panel outlined with the lace extended from the low-cut back to the hemline. Her headpiece was a veiled cluster of ice blue ribbon, and her flowers a cascade of pink sweetheart roses and chrysanthemums.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Carolyn Warfield Butler of Springfield, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Linda Lucille Eastham, Miss Janet Barbara Rappaport, of Front Royal, Miss Nancy Jo Ann Compton and Mrs. Nancy Jane Hall of Richmond. Miss Kathy Virginia Keyser of Marshall was a junior bridesmaid. Their romance blue dresses and headpieces were styled like that of the honor attendant and they carried nosegays of sweetheart roses and chrysanthemums.
Vickie Ann Keyser of Marshall was flower girl. Her dress was identical to those of the other attendants and she carried a basket of rose petals. Darr Dee Johnson of Berryville was ring bearer.
Maurice Lee Butler of Springfield was best man and ushers were Manley Jackson Bruce, John Morgan Anderson, Donald Ashby Anderson of Arlington, Charles Douglas Keyser of Marshall, Larry Willard Johnson of Berryville and Steven Wallace Rodden of Front Royal.
For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Stickley wore a mint green brocade dress and coat ensemble, matching accessories and a corsage of white cymbidium orchids. The bridegroom’s mother chose a two-piece dress of deep pink silk with matching 'accessories and a corsage of white cymbidium orchids.
