Captures Ben Venue
David H. Semmes rode August Acorn to take first place in the feature race, the Ben Venue, at the Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point held Sunday at Sperryville. This was a repeat performance for the owner rider combination, victors in the same contest here last year The Ben Venue, a 21 „> mile timber race, had nine entries.
In second place was H. T McKnight on Dreyfus, who at one point posed a challenge for August Acorn. M. S. Crippen riding Mr. Stripper took third place.
