Moffett Elected

To Phi Beta Kappa

Page Moffett, 1966 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, now in the third year at the University of Virginia, has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Phi Beta Kappa, founded at the College of William and Mary in 1776, is the oldest Greek-letter society of the American colleges and membership is conferred on students of high scholastic standing in the upper classes.

Initiation will take place at a formal banquet to be held at the University on April 22.

Page Moffett is the son of Judge and Mrs. William F. Moffett, Jr. of Washington, Va.

Benefit Supper

An Old Virginia Ham and Chicken Dinner will be held at the Amissville United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 3, 1969 from 5 to 8 p.m. The dinner will be served in the church social hall and will be $2 for adults and children under 12 will be $1.
