Revival Services
“Revival services will be held at the New Salem Baptist Church April 13 through 18. The Rev. Herbert H. Hash, Jr., pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Skipwith, Va., will be the visiting speaker. Special singing has been planned for each night. The pastor, the Rev. John H. McKay, will lead the congregational singing. A nursery has been provided. The public is invited.”
Cancer Film Showing
A film, “The Other City”, will be shown Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Court House. The movie deals with the tragedy of cancer within the city. Mrs. Frances Thornton, Public Health Nurse for Rappahannock County, will also be available to discuss the signs of cancer and answer questions.
