Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Alfred spent Saturday in RileyviUe visiting Mr. Alfred’s aunt Mrs. Kate Carl and son Wilbur. On Sunday the Alfreds visited his mother Mrs. Martha Alfred and his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Alfred and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Shifflet and family at Dranesville.

March 14 at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Pvt. Williams who entered service on January 15, will remain at Fort Polk for eight weeks of active training.
