Shopping in the Supermarket
You’ll find shopping easier when you are in surroundings that appeal to you, where the kinds of food you and your family prefer are offered, and where services that mean most to you are available whether these be ample parking, fast check-out lines, cheerful clerks, parcel loading service, or any Sf the other “extras” modern supermarkets offer to attract and hold customers.
Make this choice your own way, if you are responsible for the family shopping, and decide what hour of which day best suits your needs and preferences. If you are new to a community, ask the store manager what hours offer the least congested shopping time, and which days of the week his store offers specials. Many so-called “weekend specials” are offered from mid-week on, and you may find your schedule permits shopping during uncrowded times. Learn where the various departments are located and arrange your shopping list to suit the store layout.
