Support Detachment returned to Ft. Eustis in February. The warrant officer, an administrative officer in the detachment, entered the Army in 1965 and previously served with the 82nd Medical Detachment in Vietnam. He holds the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star Medal, 40 awards of the Air Medal with one award for heroism, the Army Commendation Medal for heroism, the Purple Heart and the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross.
He is a 1959 graduate of Staunton Military Academy and was graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1965.
Rummage Sales
Begin May 1st
The semi-annual Rummage Sale by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will start May 1 and continue Hiursday and Friday during the month of May from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the basement of the Postoffice building.
The past successes of this effort should encourage everyone to make donations and patronize this :>a]e. As has been said before a thrown away object to one might become anothers treasure.
