“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7)
As surely as there are laws in the physical world, there are laws in the spiritual world. We can use the energy of electricity because we have learned many of the laws that govern it. As long as we make use of these laws of electricity, we can use it with good results.
Many spiritual laws are revealed in the Word of God. When we make the proper us«t of them, we have good results. But violations of the laws of God call down upon the violators the consequent penalties.
This is the law of sowing and reaping. If one lives in sin, he is going to pay for it sooner or later. Some pay dearly in this life while others fare well until the judgment. In that day all hidden sin will be brought into the open, and those who refuse Christ will be sentenced according to their deeds.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23)
