Coughlin
Funeral services for Morse Amos Coughlin, of Boston were held Monday at 3 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John McKay officiated, assisted by the Rev. Earl West. Mr. Coughlin died April 19, 1969 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.
He was a native of Rappahannock County, a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church near Boston. His wife, the former Miss Hattie McFarland, died in 1962.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert McDaniel of Boston, Mrs. Charles Keenum of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. David Rice of Centreville; five sons, Lyle Coughlin and Clyde Coughlin, both of Boston; Marvin Coughlin of Winchester, Raymond Coughlin and Browning L. Coughlin, both of Culpeper. Also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tom Winkler, Edmund Burke, Reid Lillard, Woodrow Coughlin, Paul Karnes, Russell Guinn, Arley Estes and Harvey Butler.
