Sift together tlour and sugar into mixing howl. Stir in peeans and chocolate pieces, [’.lend together bananas, eggs and shortening or oil. Add liquid all at once to Hour mixture, stirring only until Hour is moistened 1 urn into greased 4' ■. x8'^-inch loaf pan. Hake in preheated 3b0° oven 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
