Spring has tinged the hills of the Shenandoah Valley with her special shade of new-green and is preparing to bring the vast apple orchards of the region into flowering beauty for the Apple Blossom Festival on May 1-2-3.
More than 1000 volunteer workers, plus a busy headquarters staff, are now putting the finishing touches to the three-day program of the 42nd springtime fete. More than 150,000 persons are expected here for the events of Apple Blossom Time.
