DST Begins April 27
You’ll have to go to bed an hour early Saturday night if you expect to get the usual number of hours sleep and still be at church on time Sunday morning, s Daylight Saving Time goes into effect nationwide at 2:00 a.m. Sunday so you must advance your clocks one hour to keep in step.
In accordance with the Uniform Time Act passed in 1966 the nation goes on DST the last Sunday in April and remains thereon until the last Sunday in October. An entire state may exempt itself from observance of fast time, but the only three who have chosen to do so are Arizona, Hawaii and Michigan.
Senior Play Set
For May 7th
The senior class of Rappahannock County High School will present a play, “Hip Hippie Hooray” at the school on Wednesday night, May 7 with curtain time set for 8 p.m. Admission is $1.50 for adults and $1.00 for students.
