Beth O’Buinon of Woodville was named “Mias Rappahannock” at the beauty pageant held Friday night. She receives her tiara from the previous title-holder Darlene Woodward of Castleton who has to tiptoe to reach the reigning brunette who is five-nine. First runnerup was Carter Moffett, left and in third place was Janet Hackley, right. Queen Beth was awarded a cash prize of S100 and then received an additional $150 scholarship aid to education. She is a senior at Rappahannock County High School and will enter the College of William and Mary in the fall.
