celebrities. Ed McMahon, TV personality and host of “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” will be Grand Marshal of the feature parade at 1:30 p.m. that day. The 4 Vi hour parade will have an antique car division of 150 vehicles, with Virginia Jaffe, young motion picture actress, as Marshal of the division. Also to be seen in the parade will be: Charlie Louvin and Johnny Darrell, Country Music stars; Dizzy Dean, of baseball fame; Leroy Keyes, All-American halfback, Purdue University; Frank Quayle, University of Virginia football star; and Barbara Jo Rubin, famous woman jockey. Dean, Keyes, Quayle and Miss Rubin will have appeared earlier that day at the Festival’s Sports Breakfast. The parade will have 85 floats and 45 bands.
Saturday’s program (May 3) includes an all-day Country Music Jubilee; the all-day Apple Blossom Twirling meet, USTA sanctioned; the Spring Meet (Eastern Div ) of the Antique Automobile Club of America, with 602 cars on exhibit; and the Apple Blossom Arts. and Crafts show.
