REAL ESTATE Pursuant to a decree of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, entered on the 23rd day of June 1969, in the chancery cause of Myrtle C. Banks v. George W. Carter, et als, the undersigned Special Commissioner will offer for sale the following real estate by sealed bids delivered to T. C. Lea, Jr., Special Commissioner at 115 S. West Street, Culpeper, Virginia. Said bids will be opened at the aforesaid address by the undersigned Special Commissioner, on:
FRIDAY, JULY 25,1969
at 11:00 A.M (DST) That certain tract or parcel of land, situated, lying and being on the Rappahannock River, in Jackson Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, and described as follows: Beginning at a stone corner in William Heflin’s line, thence west to a dogwood corner to Riley, thence east or north with the meanders of a branch to the Rappahannock River to a persimmon tree, thence with said river east to a sycamore tree, then iiv d southern direction to the beginning, containing eleven acres and one rod. and being the same land acquired by Sousan (Susan) Brooks from William Heflin by deed dated October 8, 1918, and recorded October 12, 1918, in the Clerk’s Office of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 29, page 84. The said real estate will be sold for the highest bid, said sale being subject to the approval and confirmation of the Court. A deposit of 10% will be required on the date of sale.
