Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Beck left Sunday on a three day camping trip near Waynesboro with their sons David and Kenneth and their nephew Gary Weaver of Alexandria. Mrs. John Fields of Arlington remained in the home of the Becks during their absence.
Miss Linda Waddell of Washington, D.C. spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Waddell.
Mrs. Evelyn Holloway has been transferred from Culpeper Memorial Hospital to the Fredericksburg Nursing Home in that city. Mrs. Brice Biggers entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Monday for surgery.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Jenkins of Hagerstown, Md. were Friday overnight and Saturday guests of Mr. Jenkins’ uncle the Rev. W. B. Dennis.
Mrs. Vinda Kilby is much improved after an illness of several weeks.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lee Weaver were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Samuels of Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Kennedy and daughter Tina of Fairfax were weekend guests of Mr. Kennedy’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy.
Mrs. Iris Brooke accompanied her daughter Mrs. Eddie Johnson and son Mark of Rapidan when they drove to Berryville on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Minnis and family of Culpeper have recently moved to the Kilby farm home on route 707. Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier were Mrs. Tidler’s sisters Mrs. J.J. Casey of Castleton, Mrs. Chester Weaver of Boston and Mrs. Julia Camer of Culpeper. Mrs. Tidier left Thursday to visit relatives in Alexandria and Silver Spring, Md. Monday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Garlen Paxson and Cheri Lynn, Mary Catherine and Steve of White Plains, Md. came as afternoon guests of their cousin Mrs. Floyd Alfred and Mr. Alfred and the children remained through Thursday while their parents were in Ocean City, Md. They all returned home Thursday evening. Mrs. Alfred’s aunt Mrs. William Vermillion and Mr. Vermillion of White Plains, Md. were their guests the 4th of July and Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Coughlin of Culpeper were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. McDaniel.
