William H. Glasker
A funeral service for William Henry Glasker of Sperryville was held Sunday, July 6, at 2:00 p.m., at Shiloh Baptist Church at Woodville, the Rev. Robert Gillison officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Glasker, 59, a painter, died July 1, 1969 at University of Virginia Hospital. Son of the late Charles and Fannie Thompson Glasker, he was a native of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Susie Noakers, of Boston, Va., Mrs. Mae Fannie Nelson of Highland Park, N. J., Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Metuchen, N. J., Mrs. Elizabeth Carpenter of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Rose Ella Hunter of Culpeper, and Miss Margaret Glasker of Petersburg; and three brothers, John W. Glasker of Sperryville, Charles F. Glasker of Washington, D.C., and James L. Glasker of New Brunswick, N. J.
Pallbearers were Henry Garrett, Bill Carpenter, Ellis Glasker, Gilbert Noakes, John Hunter, Charles Jackson and Thomas Glasker. Geest funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
