daughter, Miss Mary Cleere Williams, both of Culpeper; two sisters, Mrs. Douglas McMillan, Red Spring, N.C. and Mrs. Charles A. Rowe, Green Valley, Ariz.; and a brother, William Fitzhugh Williams of Culpeper. Pallbearers were Carlos Williams, George P. Beard, Robert F. Hale, Ellet McGeorge, Charles Copeland, Yager Hume, James Hudson and Douglas Kyle.
O. W. Gilbert
' Ottb William Gilbert, 77, of Barboursville, died July 8, 1969 at Newton D. Baker Veterans Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va.
He was a native of Greene County, son of the late Thomas Henry Gilbert and Addie Durr Gilbert. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Flint Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, 0. W. Gilbert, Jr., of Warrenton, and Jackie G. Gilbert of Marshall; a daughter, Mrs. J. Richard Latham of Amissville, and eight grandchildren. Also a brother, Ennis Gilbert of Stanardsville and two sisters, Mrs. Edwina Adams of Charlottesville and Mrs. Rixie Koontz of Ruckersville.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, July 10 at 2 p.m. at Washington Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va. conducted by the Rev. L. T. Saunders.
