Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle and their family attended the Isaacks-Weaver wedding Saturday in Brightwood.
The Amissville Homemakers Club met Thursday with 13 members present. Miss Judy Burtner, Home Agent, directed the program on Maintaining Mental Health. A workshop meeting is planned for Wednesday, July 16 at Amissville Baptist Church educational rooms and will be on making bread flowers and decoupage. The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Esther Rucker of Arlington spent four days last

4. Support and strengthen Godwin programs. Pollard campaigns on the progressive record of the Godwin administration. He has pledged to expand and improve on that record.
These are but a few of Fred Pollard’s positions. Generally, Pollard stands to the right of his two opponents. More than any of the other candidates he reflects the pro business point of view. Needless to say, the election of Fred Pollard to the governorship will be a signal to the effect that the people of Virginia are satisfied with the status quo.
