and grant will finance the proposed sewer system. Details regarding the operation and financing of the sewer will be released through a notice in the near future to all residents of the Sperryville area. It is worth noting that under the proposed plan the county’s taxpayers will not be required to finance the Sperryville project. The system will be paid for by the residents who use it.
Within the near future a public meeting will be held for the purpose of considering this question. Because the sewerage project will be of great importance to the general welfare of the Sperryville community all residents are urged to attend.
Selective Service Office
The Rappahannock Selective Service office, Local Board 102, will be closed on August 1, 4 and 5.
No Swimming Thursday
There will be no 4-H swimming classes this Thursday evening because of the Flint Hill carnival and parade. Classes will be held as usual on Saturday at Dr. Krebsner’s pool.
