A reception in the garden at the home o? Mr. and Mrs. James L. beeghly, Lee Run Road, Poland, Ohio, followed the marriage Saturday afternoon, July 19, 1969, of their daughter Miss Nancy Jean Beeghly, to Major Richard Evan McNear. He is the son of Colonel Evan A. McNear, USA (ret) and Mrs. McNear of Greenwood Farm, Washington, Va. The wedding took place in the Trinity Methodist Church at Youngstown, Ohio. On the candlelit altar were vases of white majestic daisies, white asters and gladioli, while along the center aisle were white satin bows and schefflera foliage. Mr. Beeghly gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a demi-fitted princess gown of white silk organza embellished with beading and quipure braid and having a full chapel train. A matching headpiece held her veil and she carried a colonial bouquet of stephanotis, baby’s breath, white sweetheart roses and miniature carnations.
Her honor attendant was her sister, Mrs. Robert H. Adams of Norwalk, Connecticut, and in the bridal court were bridesmaids, Mrs. Charles E. Weitz, Jr. of Warren, Ohio; sister of the bridegroom; Mrs. John F. Mohr of St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. John R. Burgan, Silver Spring, Md.; Miss Loraine Boland of Chicago, Qiinois; and Miss Susan Lee Steffey, Washington, D.C., Miss Kristi Anne Weitz, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
