What are you, as a mother, wife, homemaker, person interested in doing or learning to do or in learning? I want to know because August is the month to write the plan of work for the year of 1970.
Maybe I had better explain: A plan of work is a booklet that is written by the agent (me) that describes how she will be spending her time for a particular period of time, in thise case, 1970. After it is written, copies are sent to State Personnel and it is expected to be followed
My problem then is to read your minds and to plan a program that is of interest to you as a homemaker of the county. This is where you come in: What are your interests?
Later on in the month, a program planning meeting will be held. At this meeting, there will be representatives from the organized groups such as home demonstration and homemakers groups, representatives from the low-income fraction of the county and homemakers who represent all income levels, all family life stages and all ages. At this time, an attempt will be made to plan the program of work for 1970. These ladies will be represeting all the homemakers of the county. They will plan the programs for organized groups, will suggest topics for special interest meetings (to be open to all homemakers), will discuss needs of the county and ways in which these needs may be met by the agent and other personnel.
