Mrs. Lily Barber
Mrs. Lily O’Bannon Barber, age 12, died Saturday, August 2, 1969 in Williamsburg. A funeral lervice was held Monday morning it the Woodville Baptist Church vith the Rev. A. Paul Thompson md the Rev. B. G. Titchenell officiating. Interment was in iVoodville Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alfred R. Armstrong of iVilliamsburg; two grandsons, R. Miller Armstrong of Staunton; ind three great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were E. M. Jones, W. F. Moffett, Jr., William H. Johnson, J. W. Fletcher and Harry Stephenson.
Mrs. Barber was the daughter of he late Walter and Martha Lucas )’Bannon, both of Stafford. She t'as the widow of Samuel S*’ larber. Mrs. Barber was a member of he United Daughters of the confederacy and the tappahannock Garden Club. She was a life long resident of tappahannock County.
