Reflecting the experience and practical education of the Homemakers Club, the ladies of this organization served the Amissville Ruritans last rednesday evening a delicious ticken dinner, complete with a George Washington accent of ( cherry pie a la Homemakers, i During this birthday month the , Citizenship and Patriotism Committee reported the sale of ’ the U. S. Flags kits as very I satisfactory. The price of $3.65 , for a 3x5 foot flag has been marked exceptionally low in order to permit practically any family to show their pride of country. It is the objective of this committee to offer such an impressive display of our national emblem throughout Rappahannock County that it will be a show place of patriotism to both our residents and the travelers who appreciate its other attractions. The committee showed the club a large poster sign duplicates of which have been placed both in the Rappahannock High School and the Elementary School, announcing a Poster Contest on “Good Citizenship and Patriotism”.
