“Any person who is unable to work because of sickness or Injury should always inquire about social security disability benefits,” was the advice given by Mrs. Hazel F. Crumpton today. Mrs. Crumpton, Social Security District Manager in Winchester, Virginia, explained that too often a person hopes to return to work soon and puts off contacting the social security office and filing a claim for benefits. This delay can result in loss of benefits causing an additional hardship on the person already unable to work.
