James Stringfellow waa taken to ' Warren Memorial Hoapttal on February 20 for immediate l surgery. On the 22nd, Mra. Dora 1 Anderson was taken from the home of her daughter, Mn. Jackson Swain, to Warren Memorial Hospital with double pneumonia.

Saturday the Amiasvitle Rescue Squad responded to an alarm for two lost children, but they returned before a search started.

The Amissville Fire Department answered a call to a truck on Ara l Saturday at Estes. The vehicle \ was not found because of Improper directions from the caller. Tuesday morning the Amissville company responded td a grass fire at the property of Gilbert Lawrence and that night they were called to another gnac W fire at Mike Grigsby’s.
