Jesse F. Stringfellow
Funeral services for Jesse Franklin Stringfellow, 66, of AmissvUle, were held Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John Hodge. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Mr. Stringfellow died February 20, 1970 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was a native of Madison County, son of the late Frank and Fannie Corbin Stringfellow. His wife was the late Mamie Louise Stringfellow. He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Ned R., J. Frank, Robert L., Thomas R. and Bernard J. Stringfellow, all of Amissville; five daughters, the Misses Carrie L., Mary E. and Edith1'W.- Stringfellow, Mr»i: Edna P. Thomas and Mrs. Marie Jeffries, all of Amissville; 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Hansford of Culpeper and Mrs. Rosie Grimm of Stafford.
Pallbearers were Jack Smith, Abe Newpian, Jim Rosson, Ed Scott, BUI Glascock, WUliam Pickett, Carl Weaver and Elmer Jenkins..

WUlie O. Smoot of SperryvHle, died Wednesday morning, February 25, 1970 at his home in the F. T. Valley. He was 67 years of age. Arrangements for a funeral service had not been made i at press time.
