Dinner Meeting
The patrons of Rappahannock Farmers' Cooperative were gratified with the thick delicious steak and the favorable report of the Coop activities of the past year when the annual meeting of this firm was held at Panorama last Wednesday evening. Fiiniatawiiiwi wwwpi' OvtdJfc Thornhill reported total sales for 1969 as $541,301; an increase of more than fifty thousand dollars over the previous year. This represents a net savings of $29,551.
James Cornett of Culpeper, manager of the Culpeper Farmers' Cooperative which includes the four stores and fertilizer plant, reported that operations had grossed $5,073,000. This was a 750 thousand dollar increase from a year ago. Allen Stokes and James F. Massie were reelected to serve as Rappahannock directors and named to the advisory committee were J. T. Woodward, Jr., Thomas Taylor and R. Lee Payne.
