Many home owners are generally aware of safety precautions to be observed when using pesticides. However, many well intentional people forget these precautions and are filled with vast enthusiasm for that first spring yard and garden work. The following reminders are worth mentioning when it comes to safety:

1) Read the label on each pesticide container before each use. 2) Store pesticides in their original containers and under lock and key. . 3) Never spray or dust on a windy day.
