As some of you may know, the Library is the temporary custodian of certain old records, documents, and newspapers which belong to the Rappahannock County Historical Society. Recently, Mr. Herbert Barksdale added to this collection a copy of the Washington Herald newspaper, for Sunday, February 7, 1926. This issue contains historical articles about the county and its residents. Excerpts from it will appear from time to time in the Rappahannock News. The contribution of this historical item is appreciated. If anyone else in the county has old records, documents, or newspapers which he or she would like to give to the Historical Society, please send or bring them to the Library.
