Jimmie D. Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Jenkins of Washington, Va. received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, at the Commencement exercises at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Saturday, June 6. He is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

While at V.P.I. Mr. Jenkins was a member of the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineering for three years. He was elected to Chi Epsilon Fraternity, the National Honorary Civil Engineering Fraternity. He was also elected to Tau Beta Pi, the national honorary engineering fraternity.

Mr. Jenkins has accepted a position as assistant engineer with Virginia Electric Power Company in Alexandria, Va.
