FUnt Hill Auxiliary Malm Carainl Plans

The regular June meeting of Flint HU1 Ladies Auxiliary was held June 1 with eleven members present, and Mrs. Cornelia Welch presiding. Major topic for discussion was the forthcoming carnival scheduled the last of July. Tentative plans were made for assistance during the carnival.
Six new members were welcomed to the group and are Miss Ellen Mustoe, Mias Elsie Dodson, Mrs. Robert Rodgers, Miss Connie Huff, Mrs. Nellie Pritchett and Mrs. Joe Smith. Other members present were Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Eva Smith, Mrs. Frances Bywaters, Mrs. Mary Krause, Mrs. Pat Biggs, Mrs. Alice Pullen, Mrs. Alice Brady, Mrs. Arland Welch, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Junetia Pullen and Mrs. Lucy Foster. The group also formulated plans for a picnic for the Flint Hill firemen, auxiliary members and their families, to be held June 28.

Village made the noise this past week by winning two of her three games. She beat Viewtown 13-4 and Charted Industries 4-1. Her only lost came from Viewtown 8-7. Charted Industries helped to balance the league by beating WTC 5-2. Amissviile did not play becuase of rain which postponed the game with WTC.
