road from Hume for the library lawn. The Northern Piedmont Electric Coop in Culpeper is lending their efficient loud speaker system for use during the music pageant and drum and fife corps performance.
For the library lawn, umbrellas, table and chairs are being lent by Mrs. A.D. Kinsley of Boston, Col. and Mrs. Evap McNear, Dr. and Mrs. William Wake, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson Wharton, Capt. and Mrs. William Keim.
George Muth is also giving valuable art materials for the twenty posters which Mrs. Charles Estes is good enough to make to advertise the Library celebration.
The Rappahannock News as always is generous in giving publicity for this community project. Mr. and Mrs. George Davis are providing a huge parking space in the pasture behind their house, opposite the Library.
The Day will be capped off by Mr. Carrigan’s picturesque display of fireworks soaring over his town pond, starting at 9 o’clock in the evening. i Many thanks to these individuals and organizations, and >at least 60 other friends and i contributors of time and work. i They’ll all be at the Library i helping you enjoy the big day.
