The entitlement for many | uf these veterans has already i expired, while many have been < waiting for “the right time” to < use their loan privilege. j Any World War II veteran who < was released from service because of a disability which was incurred < in service, is entitled to GI loan i privileges up to the final deadline 1 date. Others who had long | periods of World War II service, sven though they were not l discharged because of disability, i may possibly also be eligible up i to July 25,1970. Edwin L. Service News

David C. Collins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Collins, 460 Snyder Ave., Pitman, N. J. has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force upon graduation from Officer Training School (OTS) at Lackland AFB, Texas.

The lieutenant, selected for OTS through competitive examinations, is being assigned to Vance AFB, Okla., for pilot training.

Lieutenant Collins, a 1964 graduate of Pitman High School, received his B. S. degree in zoology in 1968 from the University of Maryland. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta.

His wife, Susan, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis, Blue Ridge Avenue, Washington, Va.
