Circus Coming
A circus is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 3 and 4 at Sperry vilie , carnival grounds. Tickets are available in advance from most business firms in that area, and are $1 for adults and 75 cents, children under 12.
Wins Outstanding
Teacher Award
Mrs. Gloria Faye Jett Jackson of Washington, D.C. was named the outstanding teacher of the faculty of Mildred Green Elementary School, and was among those honored May 12 at the Research Club at Burdick Vocational School in the District. A tea was held with a program following at which time Mrs. Jackson received a certificate foi outstanding service which said, in part, “the award was given foi outstanding initiative, versatility and devotion to duty.”
Mrs. Jackson is formerly ol Flint Hill, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Samuel Jett.
