Two vehicles collided on Route 211 Friday afternoon with property damage amounting to more than a thousand dollars but without injury to anyone.

Kenneth Wayne Gochenour of Sperryville driving a 1966 Chevrolet pickup owned by Elmer S. Atkins, was making a left turn into a service station as a 67 Ford operated by Edward Eugene Lawhorn of Staunton attempted to pass. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin damage was estimated at $500 to the pickup and at $600 to the Ford, which was owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Western State. No charges were made.
