William A. Moore, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, S.C. acted as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were John H. Moore, brother of the bridegroom and Louis P. Moore, Jr., his cousin, both of Flint Hill and Walter E. Krause Jr. of Front Royal, also a cousin. Ushers were James F. Bowling of Washington, D.C. and E. W. Chadwell, Jr. of Front Royal.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The tiered wedding cake was served by Mrs. Paul H. Ward and Miss Jacqueline R. Campbell, sisters of the bridegroom and bride, respectively. Presiding at the punch bowls were Mrs. Earl E. Carlson, the bride’s aunt, and Mrs. Thomas A. Wyvill. Mrs. Mary M. Krause, aunt of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guest book.
Mrs. Campbell wore a pink knit dress with accessories of a darker shade and a corsage of pink rosebuds for her daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Moore, the mother of the bridegroom, chose an aqua knit dress with dark accessories and her flowers were white rosebuds.
For traveling, the bride wore a beige and white linen jacketed dress with brown and white accessories and the orchid corsage lifted from her bouquet.
The couple will reside in Annandale where he is employed with the Virginia Department oi Highways.
