Letter To Editor

Mrs. Sarah Latham, Editor, Rappahannock News, Washington, Virginia

Dear Sarah,

Greetings, and, Congratulations!-that your good paper has again proved you a widely* read influence on our beloved and beautiful Rappahannock County’s public weal.

Our quiet and peaceful Rock Mills has literally become a public resort, avalanched with people, since your charming picture in last week’s Rappahannock News depicting the delights of taking the waters at Roarin’ Rock on The Rush,-in homier words, “the folks in swimmin’.”

We’re sure it was a pardonable oversight that the picture’s caption did not state that Rock : Mills is privately owned property, i as are all the lands surrounding i the fork of The Rush and i Thornton Rivers, including i Roarin’ Reek. We fevirtbatr yon i will want to publish this letter in order to erase any possible wrong impressions and to help us
