Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and family of Oxford, Ohio were guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Maury Brown. C/M/Sgt. Maury W. Brown, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo, arrived Wednesday and on Friday met Mrs. Brown at Dulles Airport. They all left on Saturday to join their sisters, Mrs. Jean Konek and family, Mrs. Donald Williams and Mrs. Phyllis Shirey in Richmond, and brother, Allen Brown of Winston-Salem, N. C. for a vacation at Cape Hatteras, N. C.
Francis Warren of Quindy and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Warren and children returned to Greensboro, N. C. after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Houseguests of the Lynes from Sunday to Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Hilderand of Lansing, Mich. Mr. Hilderand was a roommate of Mr. Lynes at V.P.I.
C.M.Sgt. and Mrs. A. L. Swindler, Jr. and children Mike and Barbara left Wednesday for their home in Shreveport, La. after several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler and son Bill.
Dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee were Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis of Front Royal. Callers in the afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hudson and daughter Suellen of Luray and Mrs. T. M. Mathews of Front Royal.
