W&L Freshmen
Strong Academically
The entering freshman class at Washington and Lee University this fall will be one of the strongest academically and one of the most diverse in other characteristics ever admitted to W&L, according to admissions director James D. Farrar.
The 384 new freshmen ranked in the top 21 per cent of their secondary school classes on a statistical average, he said. One year ago, the W&L freshman average was four points lower.
