* Consider Whom?
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors took no one into consideration except a few of themselves last Friday when they changed the regular meeting day of this legislative body from Friday mornings to Saturday mornings.
lUs action was taken following the request of a delegation from the Spenryville area, who stated that their Piedmont District representative could no longer attend Friday mornings sessions. With Uttle discuaaion, and certainly no fair consideration to the many people involved, and inconvenienced, the motion was made and passed. No attempt was made to find a convenient time suitable to the majority; no consideration was given the other county officials who would be involved or the many state personnel including highway and school officials who almost always have business to transact with the Board of Supervisors; no consideration was given the absent member of the Board and no consideration was given the fact that the Piedmont representative had this obligation before making additional ones. After passage of the legislation to change the meeting day, the entire Piedmont delegation immediately left, though one of the reasons they gave for the change was that it would enable county residents to attend the meetings and know what was going on in their government.
