Sunday afternoon guests of Mrs. P. Downing Wood at Sunnyside. Miss Aney Melissa Massie was a supper guest Friday night of Miss Nancy Massie at Hamden Hall. Mr. and Mrs. James P. Massie, Jim Fletcher and Sarah Massie were Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. Mrs. Massie was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham at Red Hill Farm, Amissville. Mrs. Stanley Rowland of Falls Church was the weekend guest of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Mrs. L. J. Turner returned home last week after visiting in Chapel Hill, N. C., Newport News and Richmond. Her six-year-old grandson, Lewis Turner, accompanied her home and left Saturday by plane for his home in Chapel Hill. Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst and daughter, Ann Dudley were weekend guests of Mrs. Turner. Mrs. T. L. Eastham and son, Fletcher, and Mrs. W. G. Eastham were visitors last Tuesday in Charlottesville. The Rev. and Mrs. Bryan Tiffany of Norfolk and John Paulson, jr. of Washington, D. C. were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Ned Moffett Jones was a Sunday supper guest of John Paulson in the Campbell home. Miss Nancy Buntin returned home Monday after spending several days with friends in Virginia Beach and Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family of Fairfax, John Weaver of Washington, D. C. and Miss Ena Camargo of Columbia, South America were weekend guests of J. Stant Weaver. Joining them for dinner on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Reva Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bentley returned to their home at South Ben Venue last Friday from a week spent at Nassau in the Bahamas and on Little Pipe Cay and Exuma Cay.
