Bow Hunter Kills
Spike Deer
On his third trip to the field with his bow, Clarence Dodson of Amissville bagged a spike buck in the Chester Gap area of Warren County. He downed the animal which weighed about a hundred pounds late Saturday evening. This was the third year that Mr. Dodson had been deer hunting with a bow.
Minor Traffic Crash
A single-car crash occurred last Thursday afternoon on Route 717 and involved Aylette Fincham of Mechanicsville operating a 1958 Ford pickup. Mr. Fincham ran off the right of the road and struck a culvert. Damage to his truck was set at $400 and he was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Sperryville Rescue Squad. Trooper W. A. Bun tin investigated the crash.
