Trout Stocking

The North Fork of the Thornton River at Sperryville will be stocked with trout on Tuesday, October 26, 1971. This is the final season stocking and fishing will not be interrupted.

Aldhizer Campaign

Carson B. Johnson of Sperryville has recently been named Rappahannock County Democratic Chairman to handle the 26th District campaign for Incumbent Senator George S. Aldhizer, II of Broadway.

Mr. Johnson has been active in Democratic Party affairs off and on for about twenty years but is serving for the first time as County Chairman. Johnson is manager of the packing house for Washington Apple Growers. Senator Aldhizer is the second ranking member of the Virginia Senate and has been a member of that body since 1954. Prior to 1954 Senator Aldhizer was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from lORO-IOt;? -
