Red Oak Stepper, a foxhound owned by Clifton Clark at his Red Oak Kennel in Woodville, was declared the Virginia field champion as the result of the Virginia Fox Hunters Association annual field trials held last week. More than 300 hounds were entered in the bench show and field trials. They came from Ohio, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia in addition to the Old Dominion.
